Dr. Andrea Edmundson, CPLP, is the Global Learning Strategist for eWorldLearning, Inc. (www.eWorldLearning.com). She specializes in culturally appropriate instructional design: Aligning training courses and materials (online or for the classroom) to the cultural characteristics, preferences, and learning styles of the targeted learners. She authored the pioneering book, Globalized eLearning Cultural Challenges (2007); Training for Multiple Cultures InfoLine (2010); Cases on Globalized and Culturally Appropriate eLearning (2011); and Cases on Cultural Implications and Considerations in Online Learning (in press). She teaches online graduate courses in education and serves as President of the Global eLearning Community (www.The-GEC.org). She has worked in training and development for 25 years in more than 30 countries. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
