Lieutenant (Navy) Ginette Lupton enrolled in the Navy Reserve as a Finance Clerk at HMCS STAR in 1991. After leaving her hometown of Dundas, Ontario, Lt(N) Lupton travelled with the Navy across the country as a Reserve MARS Officer, stopping in Windsor, Ontario, to serve with HMCS HUNTER while completing her B.A., and then Edmonton, Alberta, to serve with HMCS NONSUCH while completing her B.Ed. After a few years in Esquimalt, British Columbia, with the Naval Officer Training Centre VENTURE, and having sailed on both coasts as a Bridge Watch Keeper with Tender Command, Lt(N) Lupton became a Training Development Officer in the Regular Force and moved back to Ontario. She cites her last Regular Force posting in the nation's capital as pivotal in igniting her passion for gaming and simulation. Lt(N) Lupton returned to the Navy Reserve in 2007 and is now the Training Officer for HMCS CARLETON. As with all previous work in the Navy Reserve, Lt(N) Lupton is again upgrading her education, working on a Master's degree in Instructional and Performance Technology. Gin is married to Major Mathew Lupton, and together they have two very busy boys.
