Goals & Objectives
GOALS
- To make a difference by:
- Being the preferred source for the exchange of performance system information between performance and instructional technologists and military members in the training community.
- Being a catalyst for change from a subject matter based to a performance based orientation.
- To Assist individual and organizational growth by:
- Helping members and their organizations produce results.
- Maintaining and developing a membership that supports human performance technology.
- Maintaining a core of expertise worthy of personal and professional emulation.
- To Actively address needs through application of human performance technology by:
- Participating in those activities that enhance the objectives of the Chapter.
- Providing a forum for presenting organizational ideas as well as the thinking and research of recognized experts in the arena of improving human performance.
OBJECTIVES
- Promote the professional development of its members.
- Exchange information about improving human performance in the military.
- Encourage the application of Human Performance Technology military training, learning, and performance problems.
- Promote effective management of HPT in the military.
- Provide assistance and guidance on performance improvement to others.
- Support the goals of the International Society for Performance Improvement.
- Recognize outstanding contributions by members to the Chapter or to the technology of human performance improvements in both military and civilian jobs in the military.
